--------------------------------------- OPEN SEMINAR GERMANY - SEPTEMBER
Seminar is open to all organizations. -------------------------------------------------
Gradings are only awarded through EBMAS.
-------------------------------------
The information in the magazines, websites, forums and books are only outlets for distributing information, and not, like the picture above, a substitution for the real thing.
Attending the seminars and actually experiencing the Latosa Weapon System is the only way a person can make an intellegent analysis as to what I teach.
As I travel throughout the world, I hear people saying they know what I do; we are just a breed of this system or that system; we just took out the fancy twirls and spins; we are just too aggressive and we are not traditional. The fact of the matter is, most have never experienced what we do, and are trying to justify what they already learned or heard. Similar to many interactions in real life, when someone talks about a subject they really don't know about just to sound impressive among their peers .......humm...!! makes you think twice about what the person really knows!
Do your own research, be your own person and make your own decision.
I have alway encouraged my students to go out and test the market, see what is out there.
I don't like using Filipino terms to describe movements or drills, nor do I care too much for names of styles, titles or applications. The type of stick (magic, colored, curved, twisted, lighted, carved, ironwood, musical, designer) you use is of no concern, the number of Filipino names you know, the number of certificates you have collected, and what your instructor did and who they are, cannot help your success in a fight, that is on you.
There are no secrets, systems that are from some secret society or newly discovered magical technique that can substitute for hard work, realistic and logical theory and realism in training.
